I for one eagerly await the takeover of our robot overlords, but until then I’m interested in improving myself through the help of technology. I want to quantify all the data that I can already easily obtain and see what insights there are to learn.
To track my heart rate, step, and sleep data, I use a Basis Peak.
Starting on Week 2, to track general activities for the day, I use Google Keep.
Starting on Week 3, to track my body composition I started using Tony Little’s Body Express Scale. In Week 9, I switch over to using the Withings WS-50 Smart Body Analyzer
because of its increased ease of daily tracking.
Starting on Week 4, to start tracking my energy levels throughout the day I started using Trackthisforme.
Starting on Week 5, to examine my workouts in more detail I started using Google Fit.
Starting with my first Monthly Review, to visualize my data with better clarity I started using Zenobase.
Starting on Week 7, to better track my body goals I started using a Fit & Fresh Body Tape Measure to track my body measurements.
Starting on Week 9, to provide a bit of worldly context I started to include brief weekly news summaries from the Friday News Roundup.
Starting on Week 10, to track my nutrition and move closer to my physical goals I started using MyFitnessPal.
Lastly, for my analysis, I use a spreadsheet template that I have provided for your use.
